I'm a UX designer at @Microsoft Power Pages and before I studied user experience design at Cornell University @information science
I am a biologist turned product designer and my interdisciplinary backgrounds in human biology, cognitive science and information science give me an unique perspective of human-centered design. I view my mind as a scientist and a storyteller. I understand both the biological basis of thought and the contextual/inner factors that impact how human perceive outside world, which allows me to make informed design decisions. As a foodie blogger, I learned how tiny aesthetic changes and information hierarchy influence audience preferences. My research experience at a virtual embodiment lab has taught me the value of inclusive design. Co-founding the first projects incubater club at UCSD has made me realized the power of design impact.
I am a fast-learner and always passioned to learn new technology, such as big data, and virtual reality! I aspire to apply my diverse expertises and design thinking to make design more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.
